TALILI MEANS FREEDOM
AN AMAZIGH INSPIRATION
Talili means freedom in Tamazight, an Amazigh dialect spoken across Morocco and North Africa.
We chose this name because freedom is exactly what period care should support: the freedom to go to school, to work, to move, to participate, and to live with dignity.
Rooted in Morocco and made for the world, Talili was created around a simple idea:
no days lost, no futures limited, no one held back by their period.

TO THE WORLD:
HOW A LOCAL NEED BECAME A GLOBAL SOLUTION
Talili was created by Project Soar, a Moroccan nonprofit with over a decade of experience in fighting period poverty and advancing girls’ rights and menstrual health. After years of working directly with girls and communities — distributing menstrual products, leading menstrual health workshops, and listening to what girls actually need — Project Soar saw the need for a better solution: a menstrual kit that was reusable, practical, empowering, and made for real-life conditions.
That need became the Talili Period Kit: a reusable menstrual kit designed for girls and women in schools, workplaces, communities, and crisis settings.
Talili is Project Soar’s sister social enterprise. All profits go back to Project Soar, helping fund menstrual health education, kit distribution, and girls’ empowerment programs across the Global South.
